Mission Zero: Our Approach to Safety

Our approach to health and safety is based on the idea of personal commitment and individual empowerment. We believe everyone has a right to return home safely every day and a duty to take care of themselves and those around them.

Safety by Training

In this ever-changing context of business, we are committed to providing a work environment that rewards merit and competence, offering everyone the opportunity to recognise and develop their talent so that it becomes an integral and functional part of an ambitious shared design.

Access to Targeted Direct Manufacturer Training (TDMT) allows Skydeck employees to develop a more comprehensive understanding on safe machine operations. By enhancing the operator’s skill and competencies allows our clients to have greater piece of mind whilst working at heights.

Safety by Design

Our manufacturer is continuously challenging themselves by improving the design of elevated work platforms to make them safer, as demonstrated by the continuous technological advances of its products, such as:

  • Maintenance Friendly Boom Systems
  • Auto Set up and Retraction Mechanism
  • Remote Dial in Functions
  • More Possibilities with Special Height Features
  • Automatic Positioning System
  • User Friendly Emergency Procedures
  • Birds Eye View of Vehicle for Positioning

Safety by Maintenance

Skydeck is aware of the importance of a thorough maintenance program in the safety of its products. Our Authorised Manufacturing agent works closely with Skydeck employees to support these maintenance programs, whether ensuring adherence to existing maintenance procedures and inspection schedules, applying service bulletins and directives, or developing new services that simplify and optimise customers’ maintenance requirements.

Skydeck also promotes scheduled maintenance checks performed daily by employees who have received advanced training in machine management and maintenance techniques. These initiatives are designed to promote client safety, reduce the unnecessary risk of a break down or lost time on site. From a client’s perspective, this is just one of the many reasons why Skydeck is considered the first choice across many industries.

Civil Construction

At Skydeck we are deeply committed to optimizing civil infrastructure projects, balancing factors such as efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and on- and off-site mobility without any compromise to safety. The best opportunities for optimization can be found at the earliest stages. We sit down with our clients and other parties involved to ensure we identify which plant and equipment can be most effective towards project completion.
